Head of AI Strategy
My client is looking for a strategic, commercially grounded leader to join a high‑profile transformation team focused on the future of AI and digital innovation. This senior role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology and innovation, reporting into executive‑level AI leadership and partnering closely with Technology and the broader business.
What you’ll do
- Lead the development and articulation of a forward‑looking, AI‑driven strategy, drawing on deep external market, competitor and technology insight.
- Translate emerging opportunities into clear strategic options, recommendations and initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
- Build and maintain strong senior‑level relationships across the business and Technology, ensuring alignment and sponsorship for transformational programs.
- Establish and manage partnerships with cutting‑edge vendors and solution providers, critically assessing capability maturity and fit for purpose.
- Shape and present high‑impact discussion papers, presentations and strategic narratives for executive and board‑level audiences.
- Champion new ways of working, acting as an internal ambassador for innovation and driving broad adoption of advanced digital tools across the organisation.
What you’ll bring
- 7–10+ years in strategy consulting, advanced analytics, data‑driven transformation or similar, with a strong technical or quantitative foundation.
- Proven experience in developing and executing enterprise‑level strategy, with a strong external‑market lens and a track record of delivering measurable business impact.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, including experience presenting to senior executives and leading cross‑functional teams.
- Strong change‑leadership capability and a demonstrated ability to drive alignment and adoption in complex, matrixed environments.
