About the Role
As an AI Tech Lead, you will guide engineering and development standards for automation, AI and agentic delivery. You will workclosely with solution architects and agile squads to design scalable, secureand fit-for-purpose solutions. This role supports initiatives that improveefficiency, streamline manual processes and optimise operational cost. You willhelp translate strategy into practical design patterns, reusable standards andreliable delivery outcomes across business areas.
What You'll Do
- Review AI and automation designs to ensure solutions meet technical standards and business needs
- Develop reusable patterns, UML views and design guidance for delivery teams across business areas
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, data scientists and platform engineers to assess solution feasibility
- Oversee implementation activity, including technical challenges, deployment readiness and design alignment
- Mentor developers through code reviews, shared learnings and practical support during delivery
- Apply AI across the software delivery lifecycle to improve code generation, reviews and engineering quality
What You'll Bring
- Experience in solution design across AI, machine learning, automation and cloud technologies
- Hands-on knowledge of AI and automation platforms, including UiPath, Databricks, AWS or Azure
- Programming capability in Python, Java or C#, with strong knowledge of data structures and system design
- Understanding of secure, scalable architecture, APIs, event streams and common integration patterns
- Experience with SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL or Redshift
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical material to varied stakeholders
